Why are we called SAM7? Our consultants often get asked why we are called SAM7. It’s really quite straightforward. SAM7 was founded in 2001 by three people – Simon Ward (S), Alan Krause (A) and Mike Hooper (M). SAM! Why the 7? Well it had a nice ring to it!

Simon Ward (Technology): Simon has over 25 years IT experience and has been working with CRM since 1999. Over the years, Simon has used and gained strong skills in many products and languages including Onyx, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, VB, VB.Net, HTML, ASP, ASP.Net, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, XSLT, SQL Server, COBOL, C, C++, C# and Microsoft BizTalk 2006.

Alan Krause (Analysis): Alan has been working with CRM since 1998 and has over 20 years IT experience. He began his career as a developer at IBM, before undertaking a number of roles such as technical team leading, project management, business requirements analysis, test management and training, for organisations including MoD, Barclays Bank, Lloyds TSB, Swiss Life, HSE and ntl.

Mike Hooper (Sales): Mike ran a very successful technology company in Zimbabwe for a number of years, before coming to UK. Since then he has held a number of senior sales positions.

The Team: Since SAM7 was established in 2001, our team has grown. We have carefully handpicked our consultants to ensure that they have excellent technical skills, and can also bridge the gap between the business and the technology. It’s equally important to us that they are friendly, reliable and honest.
